The Heart is an idea I dreamt about after I couldn’t feel my feet. What is the point of have many high heels that you cannot use, if you cannot walk, right? In my dream there was a lady, she was walking – there was a glass between her and my head – so I looked up. For each step, her gait expanded when it hit the glass floor, and back again when the shoes lifted.

For me this was a sign and from there on I searched and read a lot of researches about high heel pain. The common pains are bunions, calluses, aching corns, skewed big toes, hammertoes and nail problems. High heels are much more than just a pair of shoes. For me, high heels are an unhealed grief, women still have.  I hope that we, you and I, together can make a difference for our children, sisters, girlfriends and mothers. Rido means leads in Japanese, so be a lady that leads high heels and not the other way around.
